Wiring a tach

This is probably a dumb question, but i bought a mini tach for the chev today just to see what she's turnin down the highway, and the instructions (that's right, i read them) only discuss HEI. Where do I hook up the tach wire? It's a stock 235 motor. Thanks.

 

To the Neg side of the ign. coil, the side that the wire goes into the distributor.
