We are trying to get this tire (L60-14) off this wheel. No matter what we do we cannot get the bead pryed up onto the head of the tire machine. Pushing down opposite the head, pushing up, in, everything. We pry til the bar bends and pops out. I obviously dont do very many tires, what is the trick here? How do you mount/dismount these larger tires??? thanks-

If you value the rim at all, it will be well worth the $8 that a professional will charge you to dismount that tire.

Try grabbing the wheel at the exterior of the lip with the wheel face down and you might have a little better time . Some wheels require you to reverse mount the tires.

It's a reversed wheel. has to be mounted and dismounted from the back side first.

That has more to do with the deep inset on the front of the wheel than anything else. Turn the wheel over and have the machine grip it from the outside of the rim. Then give it a shot. Should come off just fine...

I remember years ago when i use to work at a tire store, some rims you had to do from the back side. Look at the rim and see if the second lip not where the bead seats is narrowere on the other side if so, that will make it much easier. And make sure the clamps grab it on the outside, not the inside or you'll scratch the rim up.

Like the others said flip it over ...and let the "fingers" of the clamps grab ahold of the lip of the wheel and not just press up against the inside of the rim or you will scratch up the chrome, and it doesnt hold as well.
