Hello, I am from Round Rock, Texas, originally from a little farm outside Lincoln Nebraska. I have a 1932 Ford 4 door sedan that I have had since I was a junior in high school.(1967) It is completely torn apart, I intend to put it together right when it goes back together. It started out with a 265 Chevy engine and automatic then I put a 283 with 4 speed in. Not very professional but it worked. This time when it goes together I intend to do it right from the ground up. I have a 1950 Mercury Flathead this time around, have not decided on tranmission yet. I also have a 1951 Mercury that I bought at the auction in Plugerville Texas about 10 years ago. It has a 327 Chevy engine in it. It is a maroon color as close as I can tell. I have been told it was built in Taylor Texas but have not found out by who. Last but not least I have a 1953 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that is pure stock so far, but it has the 331 engine and I see no need to change that part of it. I have read the HAMB about 3 years and really enjoy it. I am not much of a writer so won't post much if at all. I learn more by listening than talking. Sorry this is so long. Bruce
Howdy back at ya. My oldest daughter is the assistant to the police chief in Taylor. Thanks for the welcome
Thank you everyone. As far as four doors go, this one is part of the family, It's hard to believe I've had her for over 40 years. You'd think she would have her own guest room or something.
