    so I found these guys the other day in my local s**** yard!!!???!!!!

    dude thought they were old pontoons from a boat:D

    so this is what I know about them, any additional info will be greatly appreciated.

    FJ 2 & 3 or FJ4

    200 gal
    12' long and 25" high or wide, which ever...

    made by Whirlpool-Seeger for the US government.

    and while they may not be the coveted 20g p-38's I am still way pumped to have found them:D

  3. Wait....how does everyone elses s**** yard work? At ours you can't take anything from the grounds, yet they allow you to unload somewhat unsupervised.:confused:

    not sure what I am gonna do with them yet?

    probably sell one and use the other?

    any interesting trades out there?

    cash is cool too:)

    I wanna do a v8 60 or a 235 inline.

    I am also fortunate that I live about an hour and a half from MAXTON too:)

  8. Drop tanks for a jet. JP is jet fuel. Maybe from an F-4 Phantom or F-105. Could be any figter jet. They's big ****ers

    JeffreyJames looked em up and from what we (by we I mean jj) could find is the prototypes maybe around 54 and went into production after Korea and used till Vietnam.

    still has the pumps in them and one of them still has a aluminum pulley about 3" in diameter

    well as poor as I am this a Maxton project...

    Hope to see you at Maxton soon. Wish it was only a hour and half for us . More like 14 hr-16 hr for us. If money is short forget the V60 or 235 go with modern engine weatherV8,v6 or I4,you will go much faster for a lot less.V60 and 235 Chevy at wrong end of vintage cl*** engine limits. We are builfing back engined stock motored Ford turbo 2.3L
    Nostaliga is very expensive unless you already own all the parts from a previous life.

    Dude, beef up that Ford and run it at the mile! lol.... love that body style of F100's...

    I know a guy that has 2 tanks sitting in his yard like that. I just ***umed they were boat pontoons too... now I need to investigate!

    leave 'em in the back of your f-100 and add some fake tail fins. then paint RATO on the sides of 'em and make it look like they're tied down with rope. then go out to maxton and see what they say.
