    Great forum...
I have searched here and elsewhere for information about possible donor vehicles for a steel roof insert for my 35 Chev Standard 2 door sedan. I would like a smooth (not ribbed) insert. Anybody know what would fit or know where I can get some leads? Thanks.

SOLVED...After searching wrecking yards with a template I found the perfect donor. Write this down as it should be good for a beer if anyone ever asks you. 1990 to 97 Lincoln Town Car is a perfect fit for a 34 Master and 35 Standard 2-door. It will also work for a coupe.

Mid 80's Jeep Cherokee tops are a good donor for many car roofs. I got mine directly from Jeep for around $300 several years back. Tell them to look in their 'collision' book if you get a blank stare.

I also have a 35 2 door Standard, been playing around with the idea of filing the roof.

Please share more details and Pics of your build.
