Soooo...I have been looking on the HAMB for advice and questions answered for years and finally decided I would join up (dont know what took me so long). I have been into the traditional rods since I was a kid... I never really had to mcuh family growing up that was into cars past changing the oil in their Honda, but some how I picked up the love and have been here ever since I first saw my first primer paint job (which was out of neccesity, not coolness). a few years ago I met my step dad and he is a huge collector (totally into the original unmolested style-- the guy has two original, uncut 32 Fords...) This led to my first car: a 1951 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Capri...the first year was rough but the next year it was on the road (thank you to Derrick Bowling, Bowling Bros Early Iron). Since that point I have put in a new engine (351C), started the interior and thought about paint and body work...but for now it is faded paint and rust (which is how I like it). I appreciate cars on the whole but have a love affair with Traditional Style Rods....I hope to learn something on here, make friends and like the intro says, "spread this **** all over the world!"
