Are they the same...more specifically, are the bumper guards the same.....my chrome guy lost the guards off the 56 I just finished. I can get a set off 55's from DE SOTO...will they work?

The only ones that are different are the '56 Fairlane rears that have the exhaust coming out through the bumper (not one of Ford's better ideas), otherwise '55 and '56 bumpers and bumper guards are the same. Station wagon rear guards are unique to the station wagon.
Yeah, but I can't tell'ya.....or I'd have another to worry about! Unfortunately, with the EPA running things, (though that's not entirely bad) there's such a serious lack of platers around, you have to put up with a lot of ****. I guess it's worth it, if the guy is otherwise pretty good, he's local, does good work, and sometimes puts up with "rush jobs" for me. Now if it was a one-off, handmade piece, like something off the Kopper Kart, like our first plater did, I'd have to drop him. Thanks for the responses!
mark ask jack dimatties from the knights, he just replaced his bumper after his wreck, he knows all that and more about the 56 ford. He might have some extras. barrymazz
have two hanging on the wall. You need them let me know. I was just going to put them in a swap next month, also have a front bumper.
