I'm trying to restore this old hot rod Deuce and can't figure out what steering wheel this is. I know that this is a real grainy photo buts its all I have right now. If you guys can post a picture of what you think it is, that would be helpful. I'll post the whole story on this Deuce in a future post...It's a good one ! BTW, this picture was taken in June 1956 so it can't be any newer than 1956 !

early 50's plymouth had a wheel that had the same look as the ford truck shown above if i remember right, but with a slight hump-up on the top of the hub like the one in the OP photo ... the horizontal spokes were slightly offset down towards the bottom of the wheel as well.

I have this wheel which looks just like the one in your picture, I can't see anything to differentiate them. However, I don't know what it's from either. It's marked '50 Olds but that is not correct, might be a different year of Olds. If you think this is the right one, let me know, I don't need it for anything, could sell it to you for your resto.

Looking at your picture the side spokes are below the center of the hub where as the other one appears to be centered on the side spokes. May be an illusion though.

I'm looking at the picture above and I'm seeing the spokes below the center of the hub, just like mine. I'm not seeing them centered on the hub at all.

So it was '50 Olds. Mine was marked correctly after all. This must have been just for the cheaper 88 models, because I've seen other '50 Oldsmobiles and they had a fancier wheel with a horn ring on it.

Squablow, the car with the wheel is a 1950 Olds 88 2 door sedan. Thanks for the help on this. I'm gonna try to find one complete with the ****on but if I can't I'll send you a PM on yours. Thnx.
