I have a pair of 1958 Del Ray tail lights (the ones with the chrome peak in between two bullets) that I am planning on using, but the problem is they're far from mint. The metal is in good shape, but the chrome is shot. They are made out of the usual old pot metal or whatever that cast stuff is that all old trim bezels are made from. Is this re-chromeable, and if not, can someone point me in the direction of reproduction units? Thanks!
I had mine rechromed and they were all pitted but they came out beautiful. A local guy in Neenah Wi. did them for me. BB
Fiddy, sorry my people are busy this week getting the conver ready to go to HRCC garage days to get the new 9 inch rear end put in. I hate to break the work ethic ya know. BB
Thanks guys! I know it'll be do-able now, so I'll talk to the chromer and see what I can come up with, unless I can find a decent re-pop.
