This is Paul Gommi's duece roadster. All parts on this thing are pre 52. What is the wing emblem that he has his decklid handle in ? Kinda looks like the wing emblems that are on the new PT cruisers and dodge trucks..but obviously it's not. Just wondering...looks pretty cool the way he did it. Anyone have any close up pics of one??

    Thanks for your help.

    cool car ,that's for sure

  7. Hate to say it, but that looks like it might be a fairly current Chrysler set of wings, like on the PT Cruiser.

Look a lot like 34 dodge Brothers

  13. How about the little heat sink rings around the ends of the tailpipes...nice detail.

    I love those wheels!

Although it's a collection of "pre 52" parts it doesn't give off the vibe that it's an old build... too many rare parts. It's almost like they don't fit together.

The heat sinks could have been off a Brit bike as well.

Cool car, I could live without the wheels and multitude of tag toppers though...

  19. What's the "V" deal on the headlight?

A trick of light or paint?

Is the front end as busy as the rear?

Looks like it would be fun to see parked and try to ID all the stuff....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those hard to come by these days? That roadster looks great and that use of the emblem is very cool.

beat you by seconds cris :)

yes the "divco" /kelsey hayes accesory wheels are pretty hard to find and pricey but the wheels on pauls car aren't them they are dodge truck wheels, i think they are 20x3.5 and have a 5-4.5 bolt pattern a whole lot more common than the divco's, still rare to see on a hot rod. pauls car is great, but it's a little to busy for me and looked better with the old wheels, these might be ok if he got rid of the 1" spacers/adapters so they'd fit closer in the back. still a bitchen car and paul's got a great collection of stuff. his panel is one of my favorites

  26. They are 5x 4.5"...not 5x 5.5"??

yes 5x4.5, at least the ones i had awhile back were, and i'm pretty sure pauls are as well because he's running adapters with them

  28. That's just plain ugy to me:eek:

  29. Photo quality wasn't good enough
