    Hi,

Can anyone help me ID this wheel? Interesting ribs on the inside of the rim....

    Thanks!

I don't have them yet and wanted to ID them if I can since I'm still discussing the sales price with the current owner....

looks like it has regular lugs with just washers ,,check the webbing there to make sure none were over tightened and possible cracks,,They do look like a good sturdy wheel for a drag car

The fins are also something to consider should you decide to run different drum as clearance
    may become an issue

They look like magnesium to me, and I don't know of anybody except American (Palemedies) to make five-spokes in magnesium.

I think you've got it. The inside webs are visible in the Mooneyes section. This is a 1963 catalog when a mag wheel meant it was made from magnesium. The aluminum Torq thrusts were not available when this was printed. Notice that they advertised the weight of the wheel.

Well, I picked everything up and here are a couple quick photos of the wheels.

They appear to be the same ones in the Moon catalog but there is no info cast into the back at all.... nothing.

All in all I'm pretty happy....Going to soak them good with some Gibbs and go from there.
