Hello everyone! I am new to the H.A.M.B. but have read and searched often. Just found a 35 Ford roadster body and frame last week. I know a guy that has a complete running 1938 Ford flathead and transmission out of a truck. Is the motor and or transmission worth using? $400? Thanks

Hello from Bardstown. Lots of KY folks here. In regard to the flatty, if you can here it run, and it doesn't have any problems, I'd ****** it in a heartbeat.

Hey, that might be the same year as my Flathead! And mine is a truck engine also! I know that mine is a '38-'42 because of the 81T stamped on the head. I think that the one your looking at would be a great motor to get and put in something.
