I have been snooping on the HAMB for quite a while, and figured I may as well register. I got on here thanks to a cat in my club who turned me onto this site for sourcing parts, but there is quite a bit more than just that. In fact, all the guys in the club roam these pages almost daily. I have been wrenching on my project 49 Ford F-1 for quite a few years. Originally, I wanted to make it a sweet flatty powered monster, but I have moved on to a potent 289 and a 4-speed toploader instead. My dreams of cruising in a flathead powered Ford will soon be realized (soon being a relative term of course!). I am also in the process of landing a sweet '66 Stang. Our whole club is still young and working our ***es off to get our rides up and runnin this year. I enjoy rehabbing old bikes. I just got done with an early 50's Spitfire that began as a junkyard find, and ended as a British Racing Green Beauty! The best part of all of this has been that I finally realized that I am not the only one that gets excited to hit up an old junk yard.
Ford-Man, Welcome from North Texas. And NO, you aren't the only one that gets excited about hitting up old jumk yards.
