Shoebox custom trim

Just curious what trim have you seen that looks good,and what to stay away from? I just picked up some 58 buick side trim and in my mind I think it will look ok, but what do I know.

 

I think '58 Buick trim should be great. Here's one with slightly earlier Buick trim -- not quite the same -- but the '58 stuff should look great with stock rear wheel wells:

 

Mine has 55 chevy 4 door trim with the rear portion of 55 buick trim turned upside down under the chevy trim...

 

It depends on what your paint scheme will be......two tone or one color makes a big difference in the trim you want to use.......stan

 

I like the stock 50 myself

 

I am planning a 2 tone paint scheme.

 

55 Pontiac trim is a stable choice. I have a couple sets if you're interested.

 

I have 55 chevy trim on mine right now but I grab a brand new set of the original straight spears I think I'm going to use once I get to that portion of my build.

 

I think when the dust settles on my 50... It will have the stock trim
