I'd like to say hi to all you guys and gals on the HAMB. I discovered this forum recently and have already learned much from the threads and posts I've read. In fact there was even a couple times where I thought I might be able to pitch in and help too. I'm looking forward to learning and contributing where I can. A bit about myself: I live in Florida, but was born Rochester NY. I really dig all old cars but I have a soft spot for Fords (especially Flatheads). I spent about 25 years of my life peddling parts at Ford dealerships, and now I find myself in investor mode. This has given me a bit more time to fool with my junk. I don't have a ton of talent but I have a thousand ideas and I'm determined (dangerous). Talk to ya soon!
Welcome also to you Tatts. Yes I have a couple in the beginning stages. I've got a `39 Deluxe Tudor w/59AB Flathead (rough), a `40 Deluxe Coupe body and frame(dreamin' about this one, maybe channeled, fenderless `37 grille and hood sporting a 430 Lincoln with 6 twos on a log manifold), and `62 Merc Comet four door I'm in need of parts on.
i used to be a very strict chvey man, when it comes to the old school cars and trucks i pretty much like them all. ihave teh same parts delima with my willys pick up.
Welcome aboard. Just recently joined myself, and glad to see another flatheader (mine's a '40 Standard Tudor Sedan).
Welcome! Glad to see another member from F-L-A, and one near Tampa. Although the Orlando crowd likes to bust our balls , we got a lot of **** going down here. My buddy's T Roadster is almost done, actually, beyond almost, and I must say it is bad ***. (look for MBL here) We got **** going on at the "JP Ranch" (my friend's workshop,DV8)....get in touch with us sometime. Mike
Welcome to the HAMB from Northeast Fla. here. There are a few folks on here fairly close to ya. Just watch out for the Tampons down Tampa way. My wifes mother and aunt live in Spring Hill so I get down there a few times a year. It sure is pretty country down there thats for sure.
