6.0L vortec LQ4 motor

First time on this site..........and so I'm asking for some help.
I want to set up my 300HP LQ4 motor with carb.
I want to know if anyone out there has information for me on what they would recommend for setting up a this motor converting to carb and get 400HP when done?

Check out GM performance parts site they got all the answers and parts.

 

edelbrock has a carb kit with the firing deal, its like $600 or so. A cam and headers should get you what you want at the crank, the 5.3s will put down over 300 with lsx left overs.
