More.... By the way, out of everything at the show... The brown '32 5-window and HotRodPrimer's '32 pickup were my 2-favorites. Alot of VERY cool stuff, but none better than these two. In my opinion.

    Enjoy the pics.

The Nats South will never be a "Roundup" but if you're willing to wade through a BUNCH of street rods, there was some neat stuff there. My "top 2" just happened to be from a father & son team. Brock Henderson & his dad showed up with Brock's '32 Tudor (with a fresh 5" chop) & his dad rolled in with his Deuce roadster sporting it's "Ohio" wheel & tire package. I LOVED 'em both.

The Motor City Flathead-powered '33 Vicky pictured above sounded like feeding time at the zoo & unlike any Flathead I've ever heard. Sounded like a hot rod SBC.

Kennedy drove his coupe 4 hours last night & the final hour this morning - all in some pretty heavy rain. His dad sold a Model A Tudor project before ever entering the swap meet. I get my new Brookville bed & windshield parts tomorrow. They had the bed stuffed in the back of the semi but what I could see of it looked good. I'm excited to have it finally. Maybe Kennedy & I can hit it hard one weekend soon.

Saw LOTS of friends. That was the best part.

All in all, it was a good way to start the season.

Ratster... Why in the HELL didn't you bring your car inside the gates? When we were leaving, there was your roadster parked out there with all the dually's??? WTF? If any car belonged in there it was yours. Especially being the last year that "OLD" cars will be the attraction at the NSRA. Next year anything 1980 or older will be fair game... So bring on the Pinto's and Vega's... Woo Hoo! I doubt VERY seriously I will be going to the NSRA show next year after going since I was a kid. No camaro's or mustangs for me, thanks.

More.... Harrison, I have to agree on the sound of that Motor City Flathead... Awesome! I walked behind it until it parked to get the pics. I got a pic of the red roadster that was with the black '32 tudor you mentioned, but it didn't take. Very cool little roadster. I also got a few pics of the Kennedy's cars that didn't come out. The gray coupe is my favorite A model... EVER! I've always said it since the first time I saw the car at Knoxville a couple of years ago.

We bought an A model Roadster from Brookville while we were there today. It's going to one of our club guys and he was glad to get it. We are going up there wednesday to pick it up. No wonder they didn't have any room left in the truck if Harrison had all his stuff in there... Glad you are getting your stuff. Nothing like Chrismas in May... Right Harrison?

I was going to have my stuff shipped until they gave me a crate & shipping quote. OUCH! I was willing to wait & got it here at no cost. ;)

The trip to Brookville will be worth the drive though..... & there's a new roadster in it for you guys too. That will be a fun trip for sure.

    Christmas in May ROCKS!!! :p

  17. Brocks sedan looks great with the new chop job.

The young dude that chopped it is a good friend of mine, he has a lot of talent.

    Great job Henry.

I hate I missed meeting the Kennedy's today. Dad was trying to sell something and son was nowhere to be found. Met one of their buddies that had some Tattersfield Flathead stuff for sale. Cool guy (Hamb Guy). Great cars though, both of them.

I thought that sedan had a new chop. Looks great.

Brock Henderson and his dad's car are both great cars and driven everywhere which makes both of them even more special!

I agree Kevin. As far as NSRA letting 80 or older in...I guess all good things must come to an end. I guess I wont be going to anymore NSRA.

I don't quite understand the 30 years old rule either, but I would hope there wouldn't be that many people that want to show off bandit trans ams, rubber bumper camaros, and vegas. Most of the Goodguys shows are 72 or 65 earlier and they have a good mix of everything, imo. Oh well at least I can drive in next year in my chevelle since the 38 won't be ready :D

  26. I agree with your opinion of the Deuce 5 window, the car in the parking lot......???

That tan '32 5w without fenders and a banger was owned by Don Moyer here on the HAMB a couple of years ago. Since he sold it the damn thing ends up on Ebay about every other month with a higher reserve. Don's asking price was very reasonable for such a cherry car . I guess the subsequent owners have wanted to retire by selling it.:(

Yeah, we had a good time despite the weather. Sorry we didn't meet up Kevin. Never made the meet n greet but I did run into some HAMBERs, Harrison, HRP, Kennedy, and Ratster.

I'll post up my pics as soon as I can sort through them. I've got a good pic of Kirby's busted headlight.
