    i know this is a loooooooong shot but does anyone have any idea were this car might be or some info on were to look...this pic was taken in the late 40's

    ya nick had to open his mouth about finding it and now im like a crackhead trying to find a crack rock.....but i like trying to find old cool stuff like this....it gives me something to do

    NEVER once saw it in 6 years on the big island.. never even romors of something like that on (in an irish rogue) "MY ISLAND"

  9. So RHD had posted this on craigs list in Hilo I kow something about this car It was built in early to mid fiftys .The original owner is still with us.The car was in the readers rides section of Hot Rod in I think sept. 1953. I will more info later this week.

    no not yet, i have two guys in hawaii looking for me, Hilo hotrodder and another guy Hilo is saying he thinks it was stripped years ago but the other one is saying that the car is still around so who knows both guys are trying to get me more info so we will see what happens

    Awesome car by the way. Would love to see some of the older stuff here in Hawaii. There must be some survivors stashed away in garages. About five years ago, I saw a beautifully restored A Roadster with a rolled pan that was originally built here on Oahu in the mid fifties. Saw it at an indoor car show here that is no longer put on.
