Ok, some of you may remember a couple weeks ago my Dad bought a nice orriginal 1933 Ford fordor sedan. The dust hasn't even settled on that and he did it again. We went to a local swap meet today, very very small. It is about 1/4 size of a grocery store parking lot. More of a social event than anything. This nice 31 Model A pickup rolls in on a trailer, and my Dad had to have it. I wanted it really bad, but just didn't have the money. He's been looking for a clean model A to kinnda do like what I did to my coupe. Look past the flat black and red wheels. It was done just to dress it up to sell. This truck is SUPER strait and solid. I belive it is a late 31 with the wider box. Everything electrical works, runs/drives great, has some new rear Firestones, even came with the stock wires. He was super stoked, but now REALLY has to clean house to make some room At least this one is a driver!!! I'll keep you guys updated as he "de-ratrods" it a little. Mom and Dad takin a spin
I hate you guys!!!!!!! Another nice score you *******s!!!!!! I would kill just to have the garages you and your dad keep your cars in much less to have the shop space and the cars.
I can't believe you guys scored AGAIN!................. No Christmas cards comin' your way this year.
I really need to start hangin' out with you and your father.....Where are we going next?..LOL!...The power of manifesting.....your dad has the gift!....When you want something bad enough....It seems to fall right into your lap!..The best gift to you is to be able to share all this with him!.....Super Nice '33 and '31 score....Is your father for hire?
It's a late 31 indented firewall & that is the wide bed box from what I remember. The only thing it's missing is the steel roof that was on some of them & the late 31 Zenith carb. Nice looking truck. If he wants to retain the sidemount you need a well from a double A to make the 16" wheels fit. Really nice truck. Congrats.
I think it's cool the way it is, too! You don't see many wide-bed Model A Pickups --- there never were a lot of them. Enjoy!
Well I'm glad he got mthe old gil. I think he will keep it on the road, and not CHOP it up like so many are doing. Looks like a real nice ride. Ice man
I don't quite know yet, but some are a nice 1961 T bird, 1956 Ford pickup, and a 1937 Ford 1.5 ton truck
Chris, You and your Dad are priceless! You two have the BEST luck goin' I reckon. That is a really nice lookin' Truck. Nick.
O.K. I Wanna know where you guys got the pre-war metal magnets implanted in your brains? It's just not natural!!!!!
