faster progress...dropped f-100

    Spent more quality time in the garage this weekend, swapped out the original rear axle for a 9 inch Ford and stuck it on top of the springs...resulting in 4.5-5 inches drop


    and no, those aren't the wheels i'll be running

    Looks good,what did you do to lower the front.

    Cl***ic performance products 4 inch drop tube axle...unfortunately the front wheels are leaning inwards like this /------\ I am looking at my options on fixing that one or having the original stretched

    those are just rollers for now 245/60R14 rear and 215/70R14 front

    I have some wide whites L78 15s rear and 7.10 15s front that will be mounted once its running

    I like where you are headed with the front bumper. Looks like you are going to have one neat effie. Did you notch or C the frame above the rear axle? Looking good. Joe

    No notching or frame changes (yet) I installed some smaller rubber snubbers and still have 4-5 inches of clearance, I am looking into changing the rear springs to something a little stiffer and or reinstalling the helper leaves
