Hey guys and gals...just wondering if you could help a guy out with some id'in of some parts...the girlfriend found me some "square bodied" cars in a farmers yard in nebraska...got they guys name and number but am trying to get a definite idea as to what they are before i talk with him...thanks in advance! I thought the first 4-door sedan appeared to be a dodge? Second a essex and a 32 ford 4-door sedan? Third a 32 4-door? Headlights i initially bought and thought were a 36' ford but they now appear to be too pointed in the rear...any ideas? thanks again!!!
the 3rd car does look like a 32 but the rear window is to big.unless its just cut out got in other pics of it maybe of the firewall
I wish i some better pictures but i was lucky to have the pictures above...this whole deal just made me realize how awesome my girlfriend is. She spotted the cars, jumped a fence to snap a few pics...then couldn't find a house anywhere nearby so she went to the local post office to find out the owners info...and i never even asked her to do any of this!!! The third car has body lines like a 32 but i agree that the rear window appears to be too wide and stubby to be a 32 ford. Wish i had a pic of the firewall or even dash, etc. to help me out more...my eyes are getting tired of squinting!!! thanks again!!!!
i found these before or after lincoln Nebraska cant remember.. looked like they were clearing the land and these were next
The first picture is a '29 Dodge Standard Six. I used to have one. The body line bead on the side of the cowl, and the bead on the edge of the fenders are unique to the 29, because 28 didn't have either, and 30 was entirely different.
