I wouldn't say they're THAT popular! You can't get rid of your Merc before finishing it! You've come TOO far to not see it through...At least til it's together and a driver.

 

I'm in, I've got a chopped 50 coupe, not quite back together yet.

 

WOW! 5.0 mustangs? If thats how you feel, I wish you the best of luck selling that car. Since they are getting like 5.0 mustangs,maybe you should put your old lettermen jacket on the seat,it might help the chances of selling it.Because we all know mustangs and lettermen jackets go together like butter and toast.

 

Lets also not forget what else is very popular these days...... " Laying Frame" just like it was popular in the late 80's on a mazda truck!

Here is the Noobest of all questions.
i kind of feel stupid for asking.
I assume its something everyone knows.
Merc production numbers lists two body types for the 1950 mercury.
they list 72A as a 2-door coupe ( 3 passenger)
and 72B as a 2-door club coupe..
I understand the options on the Monetery ( 72C )
what was the difference between a stock A and B model ?

i've just never known.. trans ?
wondering if anyone out there knows ?

any ideas what was "deluxe" about the 72B?
