Cl***y car. The Oxblood will bring a subtle richness that will accent the black paint beautifully. Nice job!

Why not use both? Black smooth around oxblood tuck and roll or pleats?

Those poor oxen have been mistreated for years!

Cowblood, or Goatblood or Chickenblood or Horseblood, leave the oxes outta this!

Oh, yeah, much as I don't like red, think the farmanimalblood would look good.

Mine is black on black & I like it.
But.....if I was installing a new leather interior- I'd go oxblood for the contrast.
    Car looks great!

    You could do both.

  12. Oxblood is the icing on the cake. Oxblood piping and black threads keeping it all together. What a beautiful car.

I like the minimal contrast in the black exterior with the subtle use of chrome, but the oxblood interior would make the rest of the car REALLY stand out! If you were walking by the car somewhere, and the interior was all black,it would blend in with the rest of the car. Whereas a contrasting color would make you want to look inside.
    I'm for the oxblood,ALL THE WAY,Chris...

I voted for the blood red. But have you considered a tan, specifically something like the Spaulding base ball glove color? Gary

    Chris,

    1. Oxblood with black piping.
    2. Oxblood with black inserts or lower 2/3on the door panels, but solid Oxblood seat.

Either one with Black carpet and Oxblood edging.

Nice car man. Wanna drive it to the Round Up next year?

we struggled with the same two color choices. Initially we were leaning towards a simple oxblood tuck n roll, but ended up going with black in a diamond pattern. As the look of the car progressed, a racier interior was necessary and at that point black was an easy choice.....

I think in your car, either would look great. But I would lean towards the contrast of the oxblood....

    Chris,
I went with a very dark red with a kind of dirty white piping in my coupe and love it. Can't go wrong with an oxblood in a black car

im gonna go with what everyone else said OXBLOOD!!

  30. I disagree with adding black piping or any tan, or any other color. I just think adding a different colored piping with the oxblood leather is going to make the interior too loud. I think pure oxblood with the black s***ching would really keep it clean and subtle, like the rest of the car. Some cars can benefit from the use of contrasting colors on the interior, it all depends on the type of material, seats, design of interior, etc. But it also has to go with the car itself. You don't want the car to be "all about the interior".

You want the whole car to look right, everything in its place, and nothing to stand out more than the next thing that your eyes catch as they gaze around it. Keeping it simple and sanitary is the solution. But, I think you already know this, judging by how clean the car has come thus far.

You could put stuffed turds in garbage bags for seats in that car and we'd all still love the car. You make the choice! I know you'll make the right decision, regardless of what anyone on the internet has to say.
