Chevy V8 Manifold Oil Tube

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Bib Overalls, May 4, 2009.

  1. I have, fresh from the LSRU swap meet, a NOS Sig Erskin oil fill tube for my Edelbrock tri-power manifold. Any tips on installing it. Do I just line it up and drive it wit a board and a hammer or is there something more better?

A block of wood and a hammer has worked for me. wipe the end with a little oil or grease and it'll go right in.

Shrink the tube in the freezer for an hour before you TAP it in with a flat board and hammer.

That's what I did. Combine it with the freezer method and it'll probably slide right in...
