So I need some advice... does anyone know how to open the access door on the pepsi machine in the picture attached?

There is one stipulation, the door has to stay in one piece and must not have any more dents than it has already.

I know it has to do with the handle in the middle but don't know the trick to getting it to rotate all the way around.

    Thanks

  2. dunno how to open it, but when I was a kid, we would find those old soda pop machines and use an icepick to the metal bottle top and hold a plastic cup to drain it in.
sure hope I don't go to hell for thievery of soda pop.
looking back, I dont have a clue why we never had a bottle opener with us, weird.

I had one that was newer, I had to push in on the door gently while turning the handle for what seemed like a hundred rotations before it would release. Worth a try:D

What make is that machine(Vendo, Cavalier, etc,)? Also, can you show a better pix of the handle you asked about? What does the purpose of the handle appear to be?

I agree with electrodude.....I THINK the handle is threaded so you have to kind of unscrew it. I have an old coke cavalier model and it has to spin all the way around a couple times. Maybe that one is the same way.

    Good luck....

I'll have to remember the ice pick thing in the bottles ever get stuck in there.

Yes an odd first post, but I don't own a car worth posting about, my garage is just big enough for my jeep but I have learned alot from this site and figured someone on here might have an idea about how to open the machine.

I wish it were just a lock problem, I popped the lock out of it yesterday and still a no go.

    Thanks for the suggestions

If you poped the key lock it should have been a standard L type lock that locks the door shut, that handle above the coin retun should activate a slider type bar that keeps the door shut also.
As a kid we used to put the money in the while pulling out on the bottle, it would trip the release to let you clean out the intire row.
