Here is the last updte if you missed it: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=345727 It's getting close. I wired the dash and ignition, hooked up the coil, mounted and hooked up the gas tank, got a battery and she fired up. I knew it would run great, this is the old engine out of my coupe. But to hear it run in the roadster made me smile. Thats a major setp in completion of the car. All I have left to do is hook up the lights, mount the seat, finish the windshield stantions and get glass, mount the headlights and secure the panel below the deck lid as well as the inner floor in the trunk. Oh yeah, gotta make one decent deck lid out of 3 crummy ones. Should be another 2-3 weeks and it'll be road worthy!! Video!
great job chris! loving the way this car is coming together. you are inspiring my imagination for the next car when the '34 is done...
Thanks Billy, I'll come pick you up in it and we can ge get a burrito! Devin can go to, but he'll have to ride in the rumble seat. Us northsider's gotta stick together!!
Yeah, I'll be over there for swap meets and some shows, and plan on having the coupe over for the Swindler's run in Septemeber. You going to Monroe??
