If in fact one is complied for 2006 I'll be happy to help in any way possible. Maybe at the PileUp those that are intested in getting one together for 2006 can get together for a few minutes and discuss the possiblity of it.

I know it was a ton of work for all involved but it raised so much money for the HAMB that I think the benifits outweight the hard work. Maybe the next one will be easier and smoother since everyone kind of already knows what to expect.

I just recieved a CD today with Raven61's photos from the HAMB Drags weekend, very cool stuff! Not to mention all the awesome photos that HankCash has been taking lately and posting. PLUS, with all the other very talented photographers here on the HAMB, getting cool photos shouldn't be a problem.

So........I'm game to do one if others are.

I've been known to accidentally take a nice photo or two...
I'd be willin to compile everything onto a CD (or 6) and let the powers that is look them over.

Tha last calander is frickin awesome! Everybody that sees it is smitten the moment they see it!

Id be willin to stuff envelopes... write something... whatever... to see this happen again!

...oh, and t-shirts... I'll take a black one in ** fat.

Ryan did t-shirts this year already. They're very cool, kind of a rusty/maroon color with the Drag-N-Fly on the front.... oh yeah, and the words "Hamb Drags"

I was being sarcastic. Because of what happened the last time this got brought up. But you knew that.

I could set one up at my Cafepress shop. Someone else would need to photo shop the HAMB logo on each pic and maybe blur or fire roast the edges and of co**** we would need 13 nice large pics(11.5 x 9 150-300 DPI). http://www.cafepress.com/hell_fish2
I can set it up here and add a buck of 2 to the base price(what is paid to Cafepress) as a donation to the HAMB and Ryan.

A company that I used to work for http://www.lulu.com/ has calenders and the quality is better that CafePress. I also have connections on the inside as well. I would be more than happy to help out in any way. I can help with layout as well, I have mad fat Quark/InDesign skillz. Just let me know. I can see if I can even get a better deal money wise and have it limited access page for HAMBers....

Ok, this LATE in the year, I can do a simple but still *****in calendar. But one on the scale of the last one, with all the striping, copy, photo submissions, etc is alot of work. Sure everyone is gung ho now, but if everyone takes their sweet time sending me stuff like last time, then it won't take long to fall behind. Just like last time. If you all remember, the '04 calendar started out as an '03 calendar...

I will do a HAMB calendar for '05, but Ryan has to say ok first.

I'm on it. I didn't have much hands on with the calenders when I worked there so I'm doign kind of a test right now to see what I end up with. Then I can ask some more informed questions of the powers that be over there....

The base price is $14.99, so would people be interested at $16.99. The $14.99 goes right to the printing company. If you want, send me the pics to my work address(please no ******) at dustin.cloud@activant.com

One needs to be the cover and over the top with a big H.A.M.B 2005 yad yad yad

Zman, cool by me. I never set up a calendar yet. We can use the cafepress deal as a plan B if needed.

Just did a quick trial and it figures out to
    Print Edition Details:
    11X8.5 in, Coil-bound
    60-pound, interior paper
    full-color (CMYK) interior ink
    100 pound exterior paper
    full-color (CMYK) exterior ink
cost is $9.54 with $2 added on and their cut $12.04
Now if anyone looks at Lulu's stuff I used the Cl***ic Calender. I have a PDF of it just for giggle's if anyone wants to see. If we get Ryan's approval we can do a nice calender. It won't be as nice as last years, but we can get it out in a reasonable time....

Django, maybe you can take a look at http://www.lulu.com and see what you think....

I'd buy one in a heartbeep.

But here's a thought - SO WHAT if it takes a little longer to insure quality? To me, I'd rather wait a little longer to have a calander that was completely bad *** as opposed to one that was just thrown together. Just because it gets done a little later doesn't mean that it can't still have 12 months in it ....... and who says the deadline has to be for January 1 anyways?

I can't think of anything more "HOKEY ***" than a calander that goes from February to February.

I know I'm just a newb so my 2 cents means nothing - but there you have it anyways. It was just a thought and I want in no matter what.

sounds like you guys have everything covered, but if you need any help let me know. I don't have quark, but I'm good with photoshop and illustrator. I'm still new and not sure how you guys did the last calander. Or what avenues you used to sell them, but I could definetely help you there as well. Just pm me if you need anything.
