Eight months ago I brought this car home. In that time I've done a lot to it, including new floor pans. The front end is all new. Over the weekend I installed the frt spring, bones and axle. Today I put the brakes on. I finally found a guy that would radius grind my shoes to match the oversize drums. It's great to see it back on rubber.
Congratulations !!!! Your car looks great and so cool that you did the work. Must be the greatest feeling. Good luck and keep us posted.
Beautiful '36...Super clean....That Flathead sure is gonna look good between it's rails.....Keep on it!
Thanks to all for the nice words. Things have been going pretty smooth lately, and I'm finally seeing some progress. Will keep you posted.
OH NO NO NO NO!! You're not getting off that easy!! Do tell us more about the brake situation!! I have all these wide five drums that are considered "out of spec" and since nobody is making them and it costs a buzillion dollars to have them welded and resurfaced, I may need to do the same thing for my new MT brakes... *****IN' coupe!! Love it!!
