Anybody know whatever happened to this 57? It was painted gold with a blown small block and as you can see features some serious engine setback. It was featured in either Hot Rod or Car Craft in the early 70s and owned at that time by a kid named Dan Glover. I guess it just faded into history. This car (minus the engine setback) has always been the benchmark street driven 57 for me although there were probably a ton of em running around back in the day that looked just like it. It would be cool to know if it still exists today.
Seems like that came up in disucssion a couple of months ago. Seems like the thread was about gassers or something. I can't remember.
I asked the same question in the street freaks thread, I think it was....nobody seemed to know, I too would still love to find out what happened to it.
That has always been my favorite '57 Chevy......no bumper and grill just looks so TOUGH. Heck, I've got a pic of it that I drew in HS.....haha....
