Hi Folks. Been lurking behind the HAMB for near 2 years now. Love the threads that happen here and hope I can add my own take on things as time allows. The Rodders from Down this end of the world know me as Shrapnel, others know me as Shayne. I've done a reasonable amount of tin and ali work on some of the more Hi-Tech Stuff in this area, but also enjoy the Gr*** Roots of Rodding. Project build will be/is 23 T of the 50's-60's era. Current USA car of choice is a 84 T-Top , 5 speed camaro,,,impulse buy 8 years ago,,,bit baggy now, if it were'nt for the stick shift "it would have been gone by now". First rod (for want of a term) on the road was a S/B Chev powered Austin 7, for an idea of size they're 2/3s the size of a Ford Pop ! Just love them FED's and G***ers and one day one will be found in our shed. Ok , so I've burbled on enough. Catch ya's on-line Shrapnel
Like woody2 said Shane, good to see you here. I first saw your Austin at a show in Lower Hutt a LOONNGG time ago, and heaps of times since rod runs. Loved the homemade spoked wheels etc. Cool little car.
Hi Guys Cheers for the welcomes. Thanks for the dig woody2 Hey Kevin, show was 1991 and picked up a 2nd in unfinished. Sold the car 4 years ago, my eldest son brought it back (I tried to give it to him twice ! ) last year and it'll end up coming back here for a rebuild to bring it up to cert. I think Moonshiners are looking froward to seeing it back in the club. For those who didn't get there , Marineland run this weekend with Pete and Billy was a blast Shrapnel
