"Flared Fenders" as "fabbed" and dropped by Adam's Chop Shop this week. All TIG welded. Cigarette pack still won't clear the bottom. :)

Thanks, I will tell him. He just keeps waving his welding rod to the music of "magic metal."

Flares are off a 54 Ford but have been heavily altered to make them fit the way that was needed. Started with this. 1954 Merc fender flares are different in that they don't come down as far in the front - too short.

Thanks for the kind words. Nope, never did find 6 more of the large center grille tooth. Am trying to figure a way to "cast" my own using the orginal as a pattern.

I just picked up a set of decent enough '53 Ford lips to do the same to my shoebox at the s**** yard last wknd. $30 can't beat it! I hope they come out as nice as yours, looks really good.

You did good on the price. Be sure and read the earlier thread about Ether's "Area 51" Merc and how he masterfully performed the surgerey on his fenders.
