I am looking for some pictures of a sports car that was raced in the late 50s and 60s at the Kinston NC and Fayetteville NC drag strips. The car was owned by Fred I. Sutton and was an alum body with a hemi and 6
    carbs.

There are a few books around that cover Kurtis Kraft and the vehicles they produced.

    Was it a 500S or the 500M?

You have probably have already done a google search but searching Kurtis Kraff, kurtis Kraff 500S or Kurtis kraff 500M bring a lot of results.

Scroll down the page in the following link http://books.google.com/books?id=4a...55HsAQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=4

There is a listing of who originally bought many of the cars and ch***is.

It was supposedly a one off, I have looked online but have never seen another one. The last I heard of it after Fred died, it was in Jacksonville NC.

It may well have been a custom body on one of the Ch***is they built then. Those things have a following as ******** or even more so than the guys who keep up with Early Ferraris.
