If you're talking a regular sized American truck, no. If you're talking about a 1971 Subaru 360 truck, yes. Cushman beds are only 3'-5' long, and about 3'-4' wide.
Here's an A roadster pickup with Cushman bed. Not sure if that's what you want, but it works on this car. 350 Buick engine and Datsun frame fwiw although the new owner has it in flat black paint and is contemplating going to an aftermarket frame.
That bed looks just right. Thanks for the idea. I have been undecided to go with a small bed or as a modified with my currant build. I think I might know where I can find one of those.

well while we are at it... a good friend of mine took an early bantam body and cut it down to the size of a truck cab and used a cushman bed for it and it fit great. the only bad part was the cushman bed was about the shottiest thing I have ever seen factory built it had water pipe with threads still on it welded as part of the internal frame structure! still, was pretty cool though...
I have 2 of these Daihatsu Trimobiles. This has a nice size bed but I believe shorter than the Cushman. Much harder to find than Cushman too. Go to the Cushman Yahoo Groups to find someone selling parts.
There was nothing shoddy(sp) about the Cushman beds. I've probably owned a dozen Cushman trucksters since I was a kid and none of them had any components made of water pipe. Someone Mickey Moused that pipe in later on, the factory never did.
