Would like to get manifold split on stock 48 Chevy 216. Can't contact Kansas Kustoms, emails are returned, phone goes to msg. Can't confirm he's still doing.

Have seen "Crestview" mentioned as possibility for work. What is their contact?

Can anyone recommend reliable shops that currently do this, give their contact?

    Thanks.

I got a hold of Kansas Kustoms last year and they informed me that they were no longer in business and are not splitting manifolds any more. Not much help for any other contacts. I haven't had much luck finding a source either.

Find some guy with cast welding experience, they should do it!
Did testweld my own with MIG, and another friends, and still not cracking after 4 y.
(preheated with gasflame, and after welding, just did let it chill..,some said it would crack, but...)

Thanks to everyone. Have been working with the Fenton headers but the shift lever for 2nd & reverse hits manifold. I do expect to get 'er done, just trying to reconsider all my options, pros/cons including splitting the manifold. Appreciate everyone's help & insight.

The problem with doing the manifold on a 216 is it will sound good, you will get on it, cause it sounds so nice and soon the rods will be hammering, but you wont hear them, cause the mufflers are loud and soon the crank will be gone, or a rod will make a new hole in the block. Go full pressure, or your gona waist a lot of time.
