the best model i ever built, a 51 fleetline (hard to tell in the sucky pics) and a 55 cameo pickup parts hauler. the fleetline has gloss red paint,silver sharpie trim,slammed,hood glued shut, Bob Paeth master modeler decal on back,etc. 55 cameo,gray primer with gloss red roof,black steel wheels,tool box and spare in back,slammed,etc. and just bought a 37 chevy convert. plans are to build it like a early westergaurd style. been working on my st. vasques model (51 chevy vert.) got the grill on, chopped windshield. been rebuilding my 54 chevy moonglow better than it was (looked like crap!). working on stripping another 51 fleetline i have (the one with the 49 ford grill) because the paint and bodywork SUCKED. i have a total of 23 models left to build. right now i'm taking one of my old custom shells that got torn apart and am rebuilding it(40 ford coupe sectioned) it's gonna have molded front and rear fenders, 55 chevy wheels and tires,cameo pickup motor,and a racing seat bucket(all i could find)
Good shit so far this week. Quality instead of quantity... I'm really digging that 50 ford, whats left of a 50 anyway, looks great. And the 51 fleetline is sooo clean looking, but couldn't you lower it anymore . All I got done this week was to chop a couple of three windows, seeing which I feel like working on.
