P.S. note from wife: his spelling ****s
Hey Stu, glad you fared okay, thought we were get slammed for a while, I just had a few limbs in the yard. Can you believe Ivan is still not dead, may be headed for the gulf again?
Glad you fared ok..........man that **** up in the panhandle makes our storm look like an afternoon shower!! I hope thats it for this season
Stu - glad to here you made it thru!! We got some of Ivan coming back across the state for the past couple days along with a Nor-Easter man it was ****py, I hope he doesn't reform again. So, that pic of your truck on the beach, is that how the roads look around there, all sand?
Glad to hear you're OK - I've been checking at pensacolanewsjournal.com for community updates from my area over in Navarre. Currently in the UK, but still have my house - best I can tell, there was no major damage - no water damage in my neighborhood - only shingles & fences, so hopefully the same holds true for my house. I hear I-10 eastbound may be repaired/reopened by next week, but westbound will be at least 90 days. Any word on 3mile bridge? I've heard sporadic power, no phone, good cell coverage in some areas (zip in others), schools are out for about 3 weeks, 7pm-7am curfew, boil water, most roads p***able, but not necessarily completely cleared & other standard stuff. Glad to hear you're OK though - keep us informed!
thanks guys--3 of the 21 at work have lost their homes--1 out of 10 have trees on their roof--I really got lucky--clean up is gonna take a while--and the damn storm is still out there
That huricane can officially be called "Crazy Ivan" named after a Russian Submarine manuver...! I guess Pensacola is use to being beat up.. it'll come back. my folks also made it. They had a tornado that missed their house by 300 ft. and lots of fence damage from trees.. Neal0o
