i was given it, its froze up , do i rebuild it it, part it out or make it into a table? in short, is it worth a ****?
it says on it , 250hp, top rpm 4,600 , and some other **** i have to clean off to read, i figure it might have the *** to push a small slingshot dragster.. not sure.
Just your basic Chevy 350 with an RPM specific cam and a marine intake. From a practical standpoint you have a 350 core.
If it ran in freshwater you have a chance. If salt, don't even think about it. Cylinder webbing is probably slaked to the tune of 50 to 75% wall loss. Pull the stop****s and probe the jacket for rust. I tried to salvage a pair of 89's, a right and left rotator, matched pair. Both motors completely destroyed from metal loss in their respective jackets.
i'll check it out tomarrow and ill pm you if they are ok. i got my dumptruck from antigo a 46 international
