best rear window frame, chopped or carson style

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Lonesome Bull, May 12, 2009.

  1. Aloha Kat's and Kitten's, I'm thinkin finally putting a top on my '29 roadster and was wondering if there was a preferred, or coolest, rear window frame to use? Are there already nice little chopped looking ones that are stock off some other model, do I chop one myself? What am i up against? Many mahalo's in advance

Regardless of style of frame or size, the coolest way to install it IS with the top fabric wrapped over it from the outside so all that shows is gl***. This of course ***uming you're not going to have a drop curtain with the window in it in back.

  3. Oh! yeah no drop curtain. Carson style, traditional hot rod, we'd like to be able to remove it and store it onboard however. We could have really used one on the recent Pasadena Reliability Run.

edited; When i say 'Carson' I don't mean a padded one, i just mean the look, chopped, non stock.
