ok - I am lame - I failed to get this cats name when I was in Austin at the Round Up and I know ya'll are gonna know who he is when I describe the car. Historic '32 roadster that had raced on the dry lakes - the gentleman that owns the car now (who lives in St Louis area) restored it over the past 8-10 years and took it to Pebble Beach and almost won I think I am unable to locate the SD card that has all my pix from Reggies the day before the round up but Malcolm has a shot of it here: http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh98/MalcolmIsNick/2009/LSRU Austin/IMG_0221.jpg I hope ya'll can gimme his name - AND what issue of Rodders Journal the car was in! THANKS I wanna say the name was Jack Sternaman or something like that...... OK later

Yes, it is THE finest roadster built (restored) in the last ten years. Proportions, execution, and parts choice are absolutely fantastic. I think only the McGee and Spencer roadsters may rival it.
