Looks good almost reminds me of the color the flatheads where painted in f100's. My 53 f100 has very close color.

:eek:Looks damn good........All of my blocks have been that exact same color, Alpine green. I always thought it to be a Volvo color, but not sure.

  5. Looks almost like the early '60's Pontiac color. Hope you used paint that won't burn in the areas of the block that get hot. My '66 GTO needs to be touched up every couple of months because the "matching" paint doesn't hold up to the heat.

Isn't Alpine Green also know as "Allison Green" and/or "Buick Green, early V8" ?

Looks great, but then I am bias towards that colour, also.

Green is good! I'm sure those guys in Washington will appreciate a green engine.

I like it! Reminds me of the color on my old 57 Chevy. You did a nice job with it, it will look sharp in an open bay.

Here's one. I too was bored and sprayed this old SBC with Lime Green. I ended up hating it, so I went over it with Diesel Green (both were the Ceramic Enamel Paints from Vatozone) and created this mint green color.
