Picked this up about a month ago.

    '57 Lincoln Premier Hardtop Coupe.

368 4V, Power EVERYTHING, Factory A/C, and Continental Kit

Working on getting the tank cleaned and repairing a few of the electricals.

Want to say BIG THANKS to Groucho for helping a guy new to the area find a reputable transporter.

Since the car spent some time at Groucho's, does that make it even cooler

Always interested in extra parts, so if you know where one of these may be, hook a brutha up.

Let me know what you think.

That's a killer car. There used to be a guy that owned an awesome pink and black '57 in Austin. I really dig that body style. Enjoy it!

Very cool, man... I've always liked that body style. The rear A/C ducts in those are pretty crazy and 'cool' haha :D

    Congrats...

Nice car. Coolest wheel covers ever.

  14. The continental kit is doing it no favours. Storing it in the back of the garage is my suggestion!

Great looking car. Very nice. It's interesting to see how big the cars were when nobody was caring about gas prices. On this car, its like six feet from the back of the rear glass to the back of the bumper!:D

Just saw one the other day in Cassoday, KS. Pretty rough but might have some good parts.

Love it! post some pics of it aired out! jk (that more door is bad ass)
I agree that the continental kit does nothing for it though...

    enjoy

  21. Yes I do!! And it now sits on full air ride. I drive the crap out of it. Love that car.

I have a single 64 bumper guard Todd if you need one. I picked it up for my 64 but never used it.

  28. there is a complete 2 door hardtop at Eastbury auto Salvage in Marysville Wa that is sitting on top of a container so you can see it from I-5. I know it's for sale, don't know how much though. Looks solid and complete from just driving by. Bud

    Guys,

    Thanks for all the feedback.

I'm still debating on the continental kit.

From some angles it just kills the car, but straight from the side, it make that sucker look long and low. Gotta leave it for now though. I'm missing the key cylinder on the luggage lock and the arm on the conti is holding it down!

This thing even has a vacuum powered automatic chassis lubricator and the autronic eye auto headlamp dimmer.

Like I said, it needs a few odds and ends so I'll be pm-ing those of you who may have whereabouts on parts cars.

My other current ride is a '63 Galaxie 9-passenger wagon. Guess I just like them long, low cars.
