History Old Ohio Highway Pics

    Here are some photos from an old book I found that I had. It is tilted "Ohio Way" Activities of The Ohio Department of Highways 1939-1943. If you're familiar with I-75 through Cincinnati you may recognize them.

    I didn't think I-75 was built until the 50's or 60's?
     
  4. the old war plant was later turned into a matress factory...those off ramps killed alot of people when this section of road was tied into I-75....brain dead today for the exit name, nut was south of GE and north of reading/paddock...1 st pic on the left side where there is basicly no traffic is south bound and that ramp was a killer!!!!!!! ya look close and realise it was an off and on ramp with no barrier between the 2 lanes....

    cool,lived in a house on the right in first pic.Lockland and the building on the right is sterns and foster mattress company.that was part of the c**** system from lake erie to ohio river

    I believe that the picture on the left is now the south bond lanes of I 75 at the Lockland exit.
