Yea, when the lawmakers start taking the bus, and carpooling in Fiestas and Hyundais maybe I'll listen to what they have to say about what I should do. But, probably not.
Ohio- 70 a little overcast, slight breeze, beautiful out. But, it'll probably snow tomorrow.

Uh Oh.................. My Friend Mark lives in California now and he has a Black Mustang, Black Interior, Limo Tinted Windows and He is Black. He Better Move.... ASAP. But Seriously guys... I Dont think they can outlaw a paint color of a car... But in answer to another post on this thread. I went to a tire shop and tried to get a little larger tires on my Truck and they said NO . Its Against the LAW. I said HEY its MY Truck. They turned down the Sale. But I went a mile down the road and got them.

I'm in Massachusetts -- we'll be right behind California on most anything I'm sure.

Great case in point a few days ago... Green line on the subway - operator, 24 years old, is texting his girlfriend, crashes subway into the stopped car in front of it. Millions of dollars in damage, 50 people sent to the hospital. Very sad story.

Right after that story on the newscast, the pretty newsgirl says that Massachusetts is considering a law to make it illegal to smoke in your own car if you have children in it.

Stay away from California! It REALLY sucks here.

The weather sucks,there's too much traffic,the air is hard to breathe,the food sucks,the wine and beer is undrinkable,the produce is tainted with e-coli,I see smoke from another fire,the ground shakes daily and we're way overdue for another El Nino.
And don't get me started on the lame car shows that occur almost weekly...

 

No doubt that California is the meca for cool cars and weather for the most part. I know I lived there longer than alot of people have been on this earth. Unfortunate though that the politicians are taking over and regulating every aspect of our lives and going bankrupt in the process.

AB32 http://www.arb.ca.gov/cc/docs/ab32text.pdf is the bill that was the beginning and authored by State Congresswomen Fran Nunez from Augora Hills. It's basically a cap and trade bill regulating Green House Gas (Carbon Footprint) From this there numerous other bills and laws are inacted that regulate the life of the Residents and Industries while at the same time making them pay for the regulation through taxes and fines that eventually get paid by the taxpayer.

I couldn't find too much on the black paint thing except for the reflectivity issues with darker colors that they haven't solved yet. I believe that measures in the 2010-2015 will be heading toward that regullation, that is of Government doesn't go bankrupt.

So what does all that mean, less freedom, car crush programs, more regulation, and only white electric cars, driven by thin peole, all others will be fined into non-existance.

Ain't that the truth. It is only going to get worse. Talk of carbon tax, carbon credits, and so on. The problem isn't humans producing CO2 through our activities...it is too many people doing it. Charge carbon tax to people with more than 2 kids. Make it illegal to exhale or fart, carbon tax brush fires. Just leave us rodders the hell alone!!
