Got rearended by a drink driver in my '56 Desoto at Xmas. i sent the car off for some R'N'R and now it's looking better than ever. maybe too flash! my current project is a '32 Traditional Tudor Hiboy. I found the original Ch***is and an old flathead for $180. have since collected an original body, original mint firewall (altho' i got another ****py original so i could cut one up , sorry Henry!) + original grille. i stretched the wheelbase to 108" to fit in my 289w/4 speed saginaw combo. a tight fit seeing i have unsplit (modified) wishbones and original (modified) k member. Side steer with an A model xmember and spring/ early 9 inch out back. frenched '48 lincoln tailights. 12" lincoln brakes up front + 5" dropped I beam. Modified truck dash with an old Lees Marine Dash panel recessed in with a full compliment of stewart warner greenline guages. A '50's Volrath Speedboat steering wheel on a modified '40 steering collum points the way. i'm investigating tri-power set-ups for the mill at the moment. i have a dual quad intake but want something older. is that enough? i'm tired after all that. seeya next time.
