I am a carpenter & my house is built of timber. It has been through several cyclones with wind speeds of well over 100mph with no damage at all. However I wouldn't recommend glueing timber back together with liquid nails if you want it to stay in one piece. I would have to agree that timber is much stronger than you might imagine provided you use the correct species.

  2. I would repair the wood and fix body.Working with wood is easy.

You're right on. A lot of guys don't know the true strength of wood. Hell, I built a stand for my big fish tank and that thing weighs well over 4,000 pounds. The footprint is 3'x8'. That's a lot of weight in a small area.

Jezz, I dunno. I don't have a picutre of it but I really dig that chopped T called Bad News that one of the Choppers owns. That car is bad ass.

the big issue for me-in any model T- is SIZE.

they have plenty of headroom, but beyond that, it gets pretty cramped in there, and in all the wrong spots (big feets.)

Two days of simple space-framing and the body is structurally sound. Just a little time and effort.

Damn straight! I had that kit, along with several other similar offerings from AMT. Their 3 in 1 series allowed for the attempted creation of some period authentic altereds, gassers, et al

    Visor,
Yeah, I built that kit when I was a kid. It was the inspiration for my '27.

  20. I built this '23/'25 T Coupe several years ago, grafted '27 rear quarter panels to the body.
