OK, so last night my wife calls me in and says “honey, there is a 1950 Buick in Kingman (about an hours drive each way), would you be interested?” Typical response “depends, how much?” She yells back “he just listed it on Craigslist, FREE”. So, figuring it would only cost me $20 or so in gas, “sure, even if its just a few decent parts, it gives us something to go do.” :rolleyes:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Well, figuring it was a total piece of ****, we headed out at 8 to go see what I got myself into. Umm yea, “slightly” better than expected.

So, how did I do for $20 in gas and $5 in soda for the wife and kid?

    Yup.

Planning to part it out or customize it? I'd be interested in the front and rear bumper guards for the '52 me and my Dad are working on. We're parting one out if there's anything your car needs we could swap.

    Excellent score

Realised he got in over his head from talking to him. Nice guy, young (mid 20s), dealing with life issues and just wanted it gone. I've given some away like that over the years. He wanted to make sure a car guy wanted it and not a s****per.

21 years with her. After this find, I told her I'm renewing her contract for a few months. :D

Congrats on 21 years. My squeeze buddy and I celebrated 30 years on Feb. 14.....that's so I can remember the date. I told her on the way to church this morning that I always wanted to go to Bonneville Speed Week. Her response was, why don't you go this year? Will Kevin go with you? ( Kiwiboy, my hot rod buddy in McKinney, TX ) So, I'm looking into it.

****, I was hoping no one saw that because I couln't fix it. I got home and was/am DOG TIRED and since I use photobucket for my pics, I wrote the post in Microsoft Word so I can add the links instead of bouncing back and forth.

Anyway, when I got done, there was red line correction marks on tons of words, so I fixed the lines. UNFORTUNATELY, the ***le I wrote on my own being tired.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it

I'm going to tri huked onn fonixz, caz itz werkd fer yu :D
