I truly love what you, Moriarity and Shuten do. Thank you many many times over. Now get back in the garage!!!
That is beautiful. I'm looking at that body and thinking that is a pretty complicated structure. How did the body hold up structurally after all these years. Did you have to repair many cracks or delaminations? I ***ume it was fibergl***/resin construction.
Wow! That thing is killer. I was recently contemplating some kind of similar thing to haul my Schwinns and BSA around. Got any pics of the ch***is?
Captain Pepi's is looking awesome Fritz! I know where a set of Valiant tail lights are at if you need a set, lol. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338021&highlight=mega&showall=1
There are some here. http://www.jockeyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2483&showall=1 It was redone by Roth's son sometime (late '70s / early '80s judging by the paint here) so that the truck and bike matched.
I'll post pics of the frame & motorcycle in the future as I put things back together for everyone. Thanks for the kind words guys. Mikes51> lots of gl*** work & cracks to repair, There is still plaster and wads of news paper stuck on the underside of the body, LOL MakX> there are not many photos of this thing in color, what few there are it looks like its green & blue flake. maybe the lacquer clear yellowing over he years makes it look green but its a light blue flake with other silver & darker blue flake in it and candy blue over that on one side. Kevin lee> you always have an invite to stop by. I tried to hook up with ya but you seem to busy BIgKen> its a long drive but come on up!!!!! Could not be said any better than this. "All things Roth" seemed to be the theme of my life as a kid. These cars were the inspiration that determined the direction of my life. To see 'em now restored (or even recreated as in the Mysterion) is something special. Can't express my gra***ude enough for your dedication
Did you keep that one hidden area with the original paint untouched for prosperity? What a treasure! it's Goood!
