I notice most ribbed roof inserts are raised ribs. I got one from a wagon with the ribs inwards.
Any advantages / disadvantages to an innie versus an outie?
Looks to be a GM roof, but I'm not sure......

Drainage may be an issue with the inney ribs and the slab flat roof but I doubt it will be much or any of a problem since the ride won't be sitting out in the weather all the time plus you live in the Sun King area to boot.

The innie will have less drag, there for giving you huge speed advantage over all the outie sedans out there.

(I'm looking into innie's or smooth top Volvo's myself)

Not sure if either offers any advantage, but how about the original Ford fabric top, they tend to look best for an early style Model A?

I thought of fabric, but with the sun out here, I don't think it would last long.
I think I'll use it as an innie, since it's what I got and it's different.

    That was my thought.

Why Fill it when the stock un-filled top looks A Million times better than ANY filled top ?

Stock Material will hold up, As will material used for Boat interiors.

Filled tops look just .... Well, Like a filled top.. VERY Street Roddy

I filled my 29 sedan top with a mercury wagon top and it looks great IMHO.
