It's like they're lost puppies or something- they just keep following me home! But, I couldn't pass it up. All the pieces are there, and it seems pretty solid. The flatty runs and it's bee recently rebuilt, but I haven't tried driving it yet (afraid of the condition of the brakes!). Don't have any plans for it yet. Any suggestions?

Here's a pic. If I could figure out how to post multiple pics I'd try it!

No, 39-40. Looks like a 40 from what I can see of the dash

  5. Maybe leave it a hi-boy?
Perhaps a full fendered, ultra dropped [bagged] chassis with the same green av8's F-1 is and a 2.5" chop...Yellow and gold flames over the front end and a wild, paisley print cloth interior. Un-polished americans with black bigs and littles.

Yup, it's a '40. Needs floors and a tool tray, but the rest looks fairly good.

I like the chop idea Rocky- I've got a '40 sedan in the shop right now that's been chopped 2.5" and it looks about right, though I'm not too keen on the paisley [IMG]! Maybe snakeskin!! [IMG]

picked up a 47 2 dr sedan myself.. always liked the bulbous buttox's.

can a 40-41 sedan front end bolt up to a 47? ....they look almost identical.

I think a '41 could- they used the same body for the '46-'48, but I'm not sure about a '40. I think the cowl is different.

Hang a cool tractor grille on the front, leave it fenderless, and have a ball with it [IMG]

That's tits lookin' man! How did you get the ass-end down so low? Are you using the stock running gear? If so, did you flatten the rear crossmember? I think that's the way I might go. Anybody ever try it, and if you did, any drawbacks I should know about?

How about a four inch section, unchopped top, with dual canted headlights from a '59 Chev in the forty fenders, maybe '39/'40 Studebaker tail lights, nosed, decked, and a '40 Merc grille. White tuck and roll with red piping, red carpet and restored '40 dash. Chrome reversed wheels with baldy caps and wide whites and a dressed up flathead.
