I just recently had the Rally America wheel company make me a set of custom wheels for my hotrod. I decided to make the call and see exactly what they had to offer and had the pleasant surprise of talking with Gary Mclean. This guy was so helpful I couldn't believe it and he went the distance to give me all the information I needed to make the proper choice for my application. Since offset was critical on my wheels I made double sure I gave them the correct information. Within a very short period of time my wheels got here via FedEx and I immediately took them to the tire store and ordered the rubber. The wheels are absolutely perfect with all correct offsets and after a 20 mile cruise on the road I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. I can highly recommend these guys for your wheel needs and if all the other Alliance vendors are like this its going to be a pleasure to do business with them when needed. What has been your experience with our Alliance vendors?

  3. I have done business with 11 Hamb Venders,,,but my first purchase was from Eric Riley before there was an alliance and he is/was the first guy to offer discounts to hambers,,,he kinda was the pioneer!:D HRP

I've bought parts from Eric Riley and will do so again. Helpful and fast. I buy my tires from Coker, top notch service there. And Jimmy and Gary at ralley america have always been great. Matt at Gear drive made my headers and intake and they're great to do business with. Pete and Jakes had my ladder bars at my door in three days. Bob Owens sold me a decklid way too cheap and I plan on buying from Limey Steve (limeworks) here soon because he has nothing but great feedback and an awesome dog. :)

I bought a set of lake headers from Matt at Gear Drive and he was great to deal with. There is no question if you want lake headers talk to him. www.lakeheaders.com

  7. The Coker folks have been GREAT!

And as far as Matt at Gear Drive goes, I have been on the other side of the fence, selling him parts for his headers and he has been very easy to deal with. Good Guy.

  8. My first ?
    BenD. T & A Transport.
And that goes back to before the Alliance program. I'm proud to add, Ben is one of my best hot-rod friends--all because he hauled a car for me.

Later, I got parts from Owen Salvage. Reasonable price with unreasonably fast service  :D Flat Top Bob has also become a friend and confidant.

I think anyone would be hard pressed to NOT have a good experience with an Alliance vendor! I also believe it's about the people you deal with. The money you save is just an additional bonus.

  9. Mine was with HAMBer side_valve and his business The Hot Rod Company. Lots of great stuff, great prices and great shipping. Very quick service too!

I have dealt with Riley Automotive, The Hot Rod Company, Rebel Wire, and Matt at Gear Drive probably won't admit to being my friend, but he's sure one of mine and he'll be getting business from me in the future...they've all been great so far...Owens will likely be my next vendor to deal with to get some rear fenders from...

Mine was Gambino, although it was a simple purchase (drop uprights), it was still easy and smooth, and the best part...you actually get to talk to the guy! I think thats awesome! In very few situations anymore do you get to talk to a person, let alone the head honcho. I hear that about quite a few of the vendors. As many times as its been said before, chalk yet another point up for Gambino. Great guy, great deal. I have also had a few purchases from HAMBers, and all but one have been excellent and very pleasant. The last one just took a while, and wasn't how it was described at all. But thats still better than some of the horror stories Ive heard.

My recent first was with Cody at Adams Hot Rod Rubber.
    A great experience.
He did what he said and said what he'd do.
    A+ deal.
I'd buy from them in a heartbeat again.

I'm thinking of contacting Rebel Wire soon about a harness, heard good things about those fellas too.

I've done business with a number of Alliance Vendors and all I can say is I would do business with every single one of them even it I didn't get the discount. It is good to know there are still outstanding dealers that still know the meaning of the words..."service and integrity". And our own Vendors here have both.......And thanks to Ryan, for that opportunity. Damn, I'm sorry, startin' to sound like an infa-mercial.

After a few 3 mile cruises on my custom made rally America wheels I can say I am very happy with them. Now If I can get on the long course I can try a 5 mile cruise.

Saturday afternoon I picked up my new frame from Eric at Riley Automotive. He met me at a car show in Colorado with the frame in the back of his pickup. Custom frame done to my specs, delivered on time and on budget. Super guy to do business with and I would recommend him to anyone.

So far I've had fabulous experiences with HAMB vendors!

    - Eric at Riley has been fantastic and have some more orders for him coming up! Can't say enough great things about Riley!
    - Coker was great when I bought my tires and I got them fast! Have plans for the future with them also.
    - Have a pending order with Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle, have purchased from them and visited them personally. Kevin and Chad rule!
    - I have a pending first order with the Hot Rod Company. He has a serious list of awesome stuff!
    - Bought from Gambino Recently and Alex had everything to me fast and first rate!

I have some future orders coming up with Limeworks and I fully plan on buying my wiring harness from Rebel Wire. The Restoration Company will also get an order from me in the near future as well! Ryan has done a great job of lining up some good vendors. I'm sure there are more I'm forgetting that will be getting my business.

In addition to the Alliance, I have noticed there are quite a few people that honor HAMB member's business. I try to keep it in the family whenever and wherever I can.

Actually Ralley America has an order for me right now on 4 new wheels for my Project 29 Pontiac. I met Gary at Turlock a few weeks ago. He was really easy guy to deal with and also very knowlegable(SP).I am thinking that they might show up this week. I spoke to Jimmy just for a short time as it was raining.

Which reminds me that I need to call Coker for 2 tires.

So far it hasn't been so awesome. Got charged for some shipping where the list says free shipping, shipping zip code and billing zip code got mixed up and apparently delayed some pieces, and the wrong address used as shipping address on one drop shipment (the first I got). Asked for tracking and got an incoherent brush off (it was late when I got the reply). I'm going to wait until I get all the packages before I decide if I'm going to pursue anything or just not order from the place anymore, though I don't know where the pieces are going or how many there are or when I should be expecting them. I seem to have placed the bum order here, everyone else likes the place and has great things to say. Bums me out though being my first "Alliance" order. It was almost 2 grand, that's a good chunk of change....

  28. Eric at Riley Automotive is Overrated! I have never purchached a damn thing from this NorthWest slacker. Why are you guys so high on this Miller beer drinkin' chain smokin' slacker? Is he pretty or what? This guy has more projects than this "OLD HOUSE" . By the way I consider Eric a good friend. Just joking pal. Good for a couple laughs. He will deliver. Curbspeed
